Position Title: Millwright/Machine Assembly

Wage: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5:00am - 1:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Assembly position available at a company in Elkhart Lake, WI. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position. 

Millwright/Machine Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assembling project-based narrow-web converting equipment orders per customer specifications
- Scheduling production and fabrication of machine parts as needed
- Reading engineering blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then building to those specifications
- Using various machine and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks
- Maintaining logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies
- Performing preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machine shop equipment
- Maintaining parts, supplies, and tool inventories for machine shop and other plant equipment

Millwright/Machine Assembly Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of machine shop experience
- Knowledge and ability to use hand tools and machine tools (drill press, band saw, grinder, mill, lathe).
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to communicate effectively
