Job Title: Inbound TMS Planner

Location: Phoenix AZ

Pay Range: $28.85-$36.06 DOE

What’s the Job?

The Inbound TMS Planner will be an integral part of the Global Logistics Strategy team and will support the onboarding activities of suppliers onto Transportation Management System (TMS) and support the successful planning of inbound transportation orders within the TMS. This individual will support cross-functional and cross-Business Unit improvement initiatives for shipment optimization and scheduling, sustained use of the transportation management system, and cost-saving opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience with logistics and distribution systems, working with suppliers, and experience planning orders in a transportation management system

 Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand supplier network, shipping practices, and inventory requirements.
• Using transportation management system to monitor shipment plan and plan exception shipments.
• Assisting with training and onboarding of suppliers into the transportation management system.
• Assisting with processes to sustain supplier use within the transportation management system.
• Assist with developing standard shipping schedules for suppliers.
• Data mine historic shipment information and assist with mode optimization recommendations.
• Identify variances, data issues, and abnormalities and convey requirements to Information Technology group.
• Help foster trusting relationships with vendors, team members, and procurement organization.
