We are currently seeking a IT PMO Manager to join our team in McLean, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

NTT DATA is seeking a highly organized and experienced IT PMO Manager in federal government IT environment to lead our Program Management Office (PMO). The IT PMO Manager will be responsible for overseeing the project management framework, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves establishing PMO standards, processes, and best practices to drive successful project delivery and support the organization's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the PMO framework, including project management standards, methodologies, and tools.
  • Oversee the portfolio of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and teams, ensuring adherence to PMO standards and best practices.
  • Monitor project progress, performance, and risks, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
  • Facilitate project prioritization, resource allocation, and capacity planning.
  • Conduct project audits and reviews to ensure compliance with PMO processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the PMO budget, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance project management capabilities across the organization.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting the adoption of agile and innovative project management practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Responsible for program and project management support services shall include the production of monthly financial status reports (MSR/MFSR), weekly status reports (WSR), ad hoc reports, communication plans, risk management plans, briefing materials, meeting minutes (for all meetings held in support of contract efforts), program plans of actions and milestones (POA&M), and other programmatic reports and documentation as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within a PMO.
  • Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) required.
