Schedule:


Four on, four off 12-hour rotating shifts.
Flexibility for overtime as needed.


Department: Quality

Reports To: QC Lead Analyst

Summary: The Quality Control (QC) Laboratory Analyst supports the company's Specialty Chemical and Pharmaceutical production processes. Working on a four-on, four-off 12-hour rotating shift, the QC Analyst ensures compliance with cGMP, QMS, regulatory, and customer quality agreements by performing various analytical tests and maintaining laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities:


Conduct routine and complex sample preparation.
Perform and troubleshoot analytical tests using instrumentation like Gas Chromatographs.
Ensure data accuracy through meticulous data entry and record-keeping.
Perform equipment calibration and maintenance.
Execute laboratory reagents and solutions program.
Follow safety protocols, maintaining a safe work environment.
Participate in QA investigations and process improvements.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in a science field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology) preferred; High School Diploma with relevant experience considered.
Knowledge of cGMP and quality systems desired.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to work overtime and handle hazardous chemicals.


Physical Requirements:


Ability to lift containers up to 50 pounds.
Capability to evacuate the plant in emergencies.
Ability to work in an environment with chemical odors.
Able to climb stairs and ladders and use PPE.
