Quality Control Technician, 2nd Shift

As a Quality Control Technician, 2nd Shift, you will validate finished good properties of wet samples that come into QC and prepare those samples for coating. You are responsible for property testing that is reported to the customer and is critical for accurate performance of the coating. You will work onsite in Cleveland, OH and you will report to the Color Engineer. This shift is Sunday through Thursday from 2pm to 10:30pm.Main Responsibilities:
Wet property testing of samples; i.e. viscosity, pH and resistivity
Make up of electrocoat bath for coatings testing
Coating of panels via electrodeposition
Low level analytical testing of intermediates and finished goods
Dry film testing; i.e. hardness, defect evaluation, gloss, color, etc.
Batch approval and submission preparation
Will lead and work on independent quality projects as needed

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required.
College chemistry and math are preferred, but basic knowledge of mathematics and scientific principles required.
Ability to understand record and verbalize detailed information accurately.
Able to lift over 25 pounds in order to handle materials.
1 year or more of Quality Lab or similar experience preferred
