Under direction of the Department Nursing Director, assists with directing and supervising nursing services and administration functions of the assigned nursing units. Participates in providing direct patient care on a needed basis and uses the role of bedside leader to improve positive patient care and work environment outcomes.QualificationsMinimum EducationX Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.X BSN required, or actively progressing toward completion within 2 yearsX Post graduate degree in a healthcare related field (MSN, MHA, MBA) preferred, with an active plan to progress towards completion within 3 years.
Required SkillsProfessional RN license in GeorgiaNursing leadership certification preferred, or actively progressing toward completion within 1 year.
Required SkillsBasic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Work ExperienceMINIMUM 2 YEARS CLINICAL BEDSIDE NURSING EXPERIENCEMINIMUM 2 YEARS IN A SUPERVISORY/LEADERSHIP ROLE.
