What’s a typical day as a Material Handling Supervisor? You’ll be:
• Working closely with the Superintendent and Plant Manager to ensure smooth operations
• Supervising all inbound, outbound, and claims processing operations
• Covering crews in the absence of the supervisor
• Facilitating and documenting crew meetings
• Maintaining work-related records
• Scheduling workforce, including overtime and vacation
• Championing and leading continuous improvement initiatives

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Are a self-starter with previous UAW/HVC supervisory experience (preferred)
• Are willing to work rotating work hours when required
• Have knowledge or the ability to learn current systems (SAP/EWM)
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Can interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently
• Are goal-oriented and have a continuous improvement mindset
• Have excellent organizational skills and the ability to demand accountability from all employees
