We are looking for a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsUltrasound TechnologistSchedule: 11a-1130p on Friday/Saturday/SundayLocations: This full-time opportunity will support our free-standing ER locations in Lakeland (open/operating now) and North Lakeland (opening in December)Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently accepting applications for an Ultrasound Technologist on a full-time basis. As our new Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, you will perform routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next opportunity. Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures · Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images · Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate Qualifications: General Ultrasound experience preferredGraduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographersCurrent Ultrasound registry through the ARDMS required Abdomen, OB/GYN and Vascular experience preferredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAbility to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is a 400-bed acute-care hospital in Brandon, FL.
