Job Summary and QualificationsUltrasound Technologist
Schedule: 11a-1130p on Friday/Saturday/Sunday
Locations: This full-time opportunity will support our free-standing ER locations in Lakeland (open/operating now) and North Lakeland (opening in December)
Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently accepting applications for an Ultrasound Technologist on a full-time basis. As our new Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, you will perform routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next opportunity.
Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures
· Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images
· Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate
Qualifications:
- General Ultrasound experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers
- Current Ultrasound registry through the ARDMS required
- Abdomen, OB/GYN and Vascular experience preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
