Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Specialist at a Global Food Company
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (may require weekend work); no remote work available
Wage: $23.50/hour, depending on experience
TB Test Required
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and review Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) records, documents, and samples related to HACCP, USDA, and FDA regulations.
Coordinate with regulatory agents such as USDA and FDA.
Manage third-party customer audits.
Improve food safety processes and procedures.
Oversee inspection of raw materials and finished goods to ensure high product quality.
Train employees on policies and procedures.
Monitor production processes from preparation to packaging.
Conduct weekly evaluations of products and ingredients.
Perform microbiological testing (e.g., In-house ATP, Listeria Spp.).
Attend bi-weekly QA conference calls.
Carry out other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager and/or Corporate Quality Assurance.
