Role Overview: As a Product Development Researcher, you'll play a crucial role in crafting cutting-edge rodent control products. You'll be at the forefront of experimental formulation, using your expertise to evaluate and enhance product performance across key metrics including palatability, efficacy, and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovate: Develop new rodent control products as an individual contributor.
Experiment: Design and execute experimental formulations, generating clear, actionable data.
Plan: Create and implement well-defined research project plans.
Research: Utilize scientific literature to drive product development forward.
Regulate: Understand and apply EPA regulations and guidance related to Section 3 rodenticides and Minimum Risk (FIFRA 25b) baits.
Assess: Provide preliminary interpretations and evaluations of research results.
Qualifications:
Education: B.S. or M.S. in a scientific discipline.
Experience: 3-5 years in a product-driven industrial or research environment, with laboratory animal experience preferred.
Skills: Proficient in laboratory equipment operation (mixers, electronic balances, etc.), toxicology dosing techniques preferred, and strong PC skills including Microsoft® Excel and Word.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for 30% of the day and lift up to 50 pounds.
Adept hand-eye coordination for typing and data entry.
Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $65k to $75k, commensurate with title, education, and relevant industry experience.
