Job DescriptionWe have an immediate opportunity for a 2nd Shift Lathe Operator to join us at our diverse team in Easley, SC. Perform a wide range of duties related to operating lathe machines, secondary machines, and quality inspections as required Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. A working knowledge of blueprints and tolerances.
The ability to fill out and understand all the SPC charts in their cell. Capable of doing set ups with minimal support from the Team Leader. Meet the production requirements for their assigned area. Perform all routine maintenance on the machines as required by TPM. A demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere. Advanced print reading to include geometric tolerances, finish callouts, and true positioning. Communicate and work with QA on all first piece approval as required.

High School education or GED equivalency. Must have basic math skills. Must be able to work standing for extended periods and lift 50 lbs. repeatedly. Must have knowledge of QA gauge tools (i.e. - calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.)
