About the Role
 
Teachers at Sagemont Preparatory School utilize our unique curriculum to help young students build a broad foundation of knowledge which they will build upon in our middle school program.
 
The 4th/5th Grade Reading Teacher will instruct students in essential reading skills, including comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking, preparing them for future academic success. This role demands a passionate educator who can inspire and motivate young readers while adhering to our curriculum that promotes analytical thinking and a love for reading.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a relevant field from an accredited institution.
Previous experience in teaching writing or related subjects at the elementary level preferred.
Strong understanding of language arts standards and teaching methodologies.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Eligibility to pass both state and federal background checks.
