Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer III at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data models, reports/dashboards/BI solutions for analytics and deep learning.

 

What You’ll Do: 


Implement data ingestion routines both real time and batch using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes.
Provide on-line reporting and analysis using business intelligence tools and a logical abstraction layer against large, multi-dimensional datasets and multiple sources.
Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.
Produce comprehensive, usable data set documentation, metadata, BI reports,
Dashboards and insights.
Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per week.


 

What You’ll Need:


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field and 5 years of experience.
Experience must include 2 years in the following: SQL and data modeling;
Building automated data warehousing environments for production reports or tables;
Redshift, Snowflake DWH’s and S3 or similar data lakes;
Data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Quicksight or similar;
Building self-serve BI solutions, canned reports and enterprise level BI solutions;
Data modeling in large Data warehousing and data lake environment;
Python/ R or similar coding languages;
Drawing insights from data and clearly communicating them to the partners and senior management;
Data management fundamentals and data storage principles; and
BI tools for ETL, including Airflow.
Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per week.
The position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.


 

Compenstion & Benefits:

 

Our salary range for a Business Intelligence Engineer III position is $134,500 to $215,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
