What are your contributions to the team? Oversee and lead the Quality Team at our Los Angeles, North Hills site Establish and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure company and customer requirements are met through effective company-wide implementation of the QMS Provide periodic reports to upper management on the status and effectiveness of the QMS as related to the company's written Quality Policies Ensure process and product compliance through appropriate reviews and approvals of work products Be responsible for administering the Company's Quality program in accordance with customer and internal company AS9100 requirements which serves as the primary interface for customer and regulatory Quality audits Develop standardized processes, tools and methods for product inspection / verification and associated compliance documentation Act as the primary customer contact for escapes and quality issues Ensure that all certifications and training are performed to comply and adhere to company, industry and regulatory requirements are met and maintained

How to thrive in this role? You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience You have 5+ years' experience, including at least 2 years of leadership experience You have experience in aerospace and / or manufacturing inspection You have a proven understanding of ISO9001, AS9100 AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification is preferred You have knowledge of quality control, process control, statistical inspection methods, and blueprint reading You have a demonstrated ability to perform high level mathematical, geometry, and mechanical properties problem solving
