JOB DESCRIPTIONIf you are a Mechanical Engineering Technician looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you Based in our Eden Prairie, MN location, you will work on troubleshooting, and performing maintenance and repairs on machinery and mechanical equipment.In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Participate in the design, development, analysis, troubleshooting, and testing of new products.
Build prototype assemblies for engineering teams.
Design tests and test fixtures in collaboration with engineers.
Conduct engineering tests and collect data on flow meters and related subassemblies and parts.
Work safely and actively remedy identified potential safety hazards from the work environment.

You are a problem solver who seeks innovative approaches.For This Role, You Will Need:
2-year technical degree OR 1800 hours of technical education or equivalent
Three or more years of applicable experience

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Experience with mechanical assembly
Ability to read mechanical drawings
Basic electrical circuit knowledge
Experience with machining, such as lathe and mill operation
Experience with CAD
Ability to implement written test plans with minimal supervision
