Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior IT Service Desk Analyst to join our dynamic IT team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about technology, and interested in contributing to a greener future through the recycling industry. As a Junior IT Service Desk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for our employees, providing technical support and ensuring that IT issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide First-Level Support: Respond to and resolve IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner.
Escalate Complex Problems: Identify issues that require advanced technical knowledge and escalate them to senior IT staff as necessary.
Document Solutions: Maintain accurate records of support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the IT service management system.
Assist with IT Projects: Collaborate with the IT team on various projects, such as system upgrades, new software implementations, and infrastructure improvements.
Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and best practices, actively seeking opportunities to expand your technical knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
Education: A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not required. High School Diploma or GED
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and common networking concepts. Familiarity with recycling industry software is a plus.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to resolve technical issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to Learn: A genuine interest in IT and a desire to grow and develop your skills in a supportive environment.
