Kelly® Engineering has an exciting direct hire R&D Mechanical Engineer (Industrial Machinery) role with an innovative company experiencing dynamic growth in the Buffalo, NY area.  This opportunity offers a remote work schedule, a competitive compensation package and working with cutting edge technology.

R&D Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:

Conduct preliminary research on new products, including technical confirmation, verification of technical drawings and processes, and efficient management of technology changes.
Stay updated on product development trends and actively participate in new product research and development.
Conduct research and design based on new product requirements. Complete the validation and timely release of existing products.
Participate in the selection of components and research suppliers for new products.
Provide technical support during product production. Address technical issues promptly, assist sales and customer service in handling customer complaints, collect customer feedback, and enhance design quality.
Collaborate with the quality department to address quality issues and handle non-conformance reviews within the assigned scope.


R&D Mechanical Engineer Qualifications:


BS Degree in an Engineering discipline
3+ years of experience in the product development of industrial equipment/machinery.
Experience with powder material handling or pneumatic conveyor systems highly desired
Proficiency in 3D CAD software
Flexibility to travel up to 15%
