Distribution Worker

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive incoming supplies and equipment
Inputs receipts into the Materials Management system
Assist in resolving any invoices discrepancies related to receiving
Distributes supplies and equipment as needed to all department in the hospital
Assist in controlling access to warehouse by assisting walk-in customers
Assist with receiving and asset tagging capital equipment
Accurately maintains asset log
Delivers incoming tagged equipment to Clinical Engineering for safety inspection
Acts as back up to Mailroom/Equipment Tech when needed
Maintains fork lift certification
Performs safety inspection on fork lift prior to use
Maintains and replenishes crash carts
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and loading dock on a daily basis
Assist with physical inventory when requested
Assist with checking for expired products and rotating stock
Other duties as assigned. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A.   Education

 High school diploma preferred

B.  Qualifications/Experience

2-3 years experience in receiving/distribution warehouse preferred.
Fork lift certification required within 90 Days of hire.

C.   Special Skills/Knowledge

Microsoft Office, MMIS; Lawson (preferred)
