Planning and executing jobs handed down from maintenance support staff or engineering team.
Selecting parts from storage and/or catalog.
Mow the lawn using tractor/push mower.
Plow snow using tractor/plow truck.
Install, erect, move, maintain, service and repair all plant and office equipment and facilities.
Make sketches of repair parts for fabrication.
Operate shop equipment (drill press, lathe, grinder, belt sander, mill, etc).
Repair and maintain basic electrical components (under 500 VAC).
Calibrate scales and equipment.
Repair forklifts
Tend the boiler room equipment.
Operate within close fits and tolerances.
Follow maintenance manuals, service manuals, specifications, blueprints, sketches, etc

Education: High School Diploma or GED, Completion of an accredited apprentice program or technical school program or college degree in the mechanical field.
Experience: Four or more years of experience as a Mechanic. Industrial/manufacturing experience preferred.
