**About this Role:**As a General Maintenance Mechanic at Aerotek, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment within the plant. This role includes an 8,000-hour company-funded apprenticeship program in Department of Labor Maintenance Mechanics, providing you with the opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as greasing bearings, conveyors, and rollers.* Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs as necessary.* Participate in breakdown/teardown of production lines for new installations or maintenance.* Collaborate with Instrumentation Technicians for comprehensive plant maintenance.
Requirements:
  • * Prior industrial maintenance experience is preferred.* Willingness to undergo an 8,000-hour company-funded apprenticeship program.* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.* Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.* Familiarity with lubrication, welding & cutting, piping, mechanical power transmission, and rigging.* Basic knowledge of electrical equipment systems and wiring.* Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
