What We Offer

Pay range: $25-28 an hour
Location: 57 Cronin Drive, Santa Clara CA
This is a part time position M-F from 8:00am to 1:00pm.

About the Role
As a Part Time Preschool Science Teacher at Stratford School, you're responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for children between the ages of 3 and 5. This position offers an opportunity to engage preschool-aged children in understanding of basic scientific concepts. Candidates who are enthusiastic about promoting language development and scientific inquiry in young children are encouraged to apply.  This is a part time teaching position while also offering support to the preschool program as needed.
You will also

Plan, supervise and implement Science curriculum while assisting in preschool classrooms
Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
Communicate daily with parents or guardians
Participate in professional development opportunities

What We Are Looking For

Educational background with 12 semesters or 18 quarter early childhood education units shall include courses that cover the general areas of early child development, child, family, and community, and program/curriculum or a bachelor’s degree in child development
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior teaching experience with young students is preferred
