HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN

We're seeking an experienced Health and Human Services (HHS) Automated Testing Lead to drive our quality assurance efforts through the development and implementation of robust automated testing strategies and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HHS, software testing, automation frameworks, automation tools, and team leadership.  


YOU WILL:



    
    Manage the North Highland team of automation and integration engineers, business analysts, and SMEs.
    
    
    Develop and maintain the automated testing strategy.
    
    
    Design, implement, and manage automated test frameworks and tools.
    
    
    Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
    
    
    Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve software quality.
    
    
    Establish team best practices and coding standards for test automation and conduct code reviews of automated test scripts.
    
    
    Provide regular updates the client on project progress and milestones, ensuring transparency and open lines of communication.
    
    
    Confirm that all client requirements are accurately understood and met by the project team.
    
    
    Represent the client’s interests within the project team, ensuring their needs and preferences are prioritized and serve as point person for project communications and any issues related to Testing Automation work.
    
    
    Develop status reports and facilitate project meetings.
    
    
    Conduct internal quality reviews of all project deliverables, following State and applicable IEEE/ISO software development and testing standards and the CMS Testing Framework.
    
    
    Manage risks and issues and act as a point of escalation for North Highland team members to resolve issues.
    



IDEALLY, WE’D LIKE:



    
    10+ years of HHS consulting experience including Medicaid, TANF, SNAP related projects.
    
    
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
    
    
    Extensive SDLC (waterfall, Agile) and testing experience, including Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), Medicaid Enterprise System Modules,  and Integrated Eligibility Systems
    
    
    Experience leading large teams
    
    
    Expertise related to industry standard testing tools
    



Preferred Qualifications:


    
    Master’s degree in related field
    
    
    Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
    
    
    Certifications in software testing or quality assurance
    
    
    Experience with performance testing and security testing automation
