Who We're Looking For:
We are currently seeking a Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys collaborating across multiple classrooms, and is committed to providing the best care and instruction for young children. Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee and support preschool classrooms, working closely with other teachers to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery, classroom management, and student engagement.
Assist the development and implementation of engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs of each child while aligning with the school’s curriculum.
Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrative staff to ensure smooth transitions between classrooms and to create a cohesive learning environment.
Help mentor and guide to teaching assistants and support staff, promoting professional growth and teamwork.
Communicate with families to provide updates on student progress and development.
Actively engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

Educational background with 12-semester units or 18-quarter early childhood education units covering areas such as child development, family and community, or program/curriculum development, OR a bachelor’s degree in Child Development.
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
Prior teaching experience with young students is preferred.
A team player who can collaborate with other educators to foster a supportive and enriching learning environment.
