TAT Limco on Tulsa, OK has an openings for Bench Mechanic. This position checks and repairs Aircraft Heat Exchangers and/or Aircraft Oil Cooler structural parts.Responsibilities Works under immediate supervision of team lead and/or supervisors
Coordinates work with superiors on daily production targets and expectations Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Initial test units Cut up and debur parts Repair units Detail units Prepare units for sand blasting and/or painting Final testing Inspection of units Final detailing (applying alodine, installing tag) Documentation: work, work orders Additional duties as required
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to read or learn to read blueprints Mechanical ability with proven experience as assembler Ability to work 6:30 am to 3:00 pm during training period Ability to work second shift hours of 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm after training period Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends Maintain high level of focus for long periods of time Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers
