Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Systems Engineer (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to:

Solve complex engineering problems, identify best-of-breed applications, and implement technical solutions.Evaluate, design, install, upgrade, secure, monitor, and maintain Application Infrastructure per Visa standards.Troubleshoot issues and ensure all the security gaps identified by Visa Cybersecurity are fixed within the allotted time.Remediate the security findings on the applications, databases, and operating systems and provide the solution to the team.Position reports to the Foster City, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 2 years of experience in job offered or in a Sr. Systems Engineer-related occupation.Linux and Windows Operating Systems.Shell scripting.Application Server administration, as well as HTTP Server administration.Apache Tomcat and Oracle WebLogic.Apache HTTP and Oracle HTTP.Oracle Database or MS-SQL Server.SOA Suite 12c including OSB.Oracle Manage File Transfer (MFT) Software.Azure Cloud Administration.Jenkins and GitHub.SSL Renewal and upgrades.Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle JMS.ITIL Process Knowledge.

Additional Information

Worksite: Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements:  This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $118,789.00 USD to $176,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
