CyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to:

Be an integral part of a cross-functional development team inventing, designing, building, and testing software assets.Collaborate with product owners, architects, test engineers, dev-ops, operations, and other team members from the product ideation stage to production deployment and support of highly functional, secure, scalable, and robust software solutions.Help customers achieve their real goals by understanding their requirements and how they respond to their business needs.Analyze business requirements and architect a solution that is robust and scalable along with providing technical documentation of solution.Leverage on new technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services.Develop and deliver new features every few days and be responsible for them end-end.Position reports to the Employer’s Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Sr. SW Engineer-related occupation.Java (Spring or vert.x).Database.Backend development.API development.REST development.Node JS.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $130,250.00 USD to $176,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
