Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Lab Technician position at an oilfield chemicals company in The Woodlands, TX. The overall responsibility of the position is to support and contribute to technology development projects for oilfield chemical applications.
Responsibilities
Conduct laboratory tests for Quality Control and developing new technologies
Perform analyses including density, viscosity, flow loop testing, etc.
Maintain laboratory testing methods and equipment
Provide technical supports on existing products and technology
Maintenance and upkeep of lab supplies inventory
Qualifications
BS Degree in Chemistry or similar discipline
1-2 years of experience in an industrial laboratory is desired, but not required
Strong background in Quality Control and/or experience in a chemical plant can be a plus
Mechanical aptitude, equipment maintenance, and lab supplies inventory experience
Motivated, positive, with a can-do attitude
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Team work attitude and demonstrated customer focus is a must
This is a ~ 6 month temporary assignment with potential to be extended and hired by our customer based on business needs and individual performance. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, day shift.
