Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
Pay: $20-$22/hour DOE
3-4 month Temporary Opportunity
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform analytical tests independently and accurately as written in test procedures as part of the quality control laboratory.
Test samples are to be gathered and tested within expected time frame and stored as required.
Collect samples of incoming supplies, in-process samples, and finished products.
Perform routine procedures independently or with minimal supervision.
Maintain complete, accurate and legible test records, in accordance with Company policy and record keeping procedure.
Follow all safety and quality guidelines according to Good Laboratory Practices and lab safety requirements.
Keep work area clean and maintain a safe work environment.
Perform other work as assigned by laboratory management.
Provide support by maintaining communication to lab personnel to continue supporting operations needs to meet customer requirements.
Assist in the maintenance of equipment, including routine maintenance and resolution of common or simple problems with instruments.
Work as part of a technical group in a multi-cultural and diverse work environment to accomplish a common goal.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline preferred
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Proven ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced team environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in following detailed written procedures and protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
