We are looking for a dedicated Respiratory Therapy Supervisor like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsWe are currently looking for an ambitious Respiratory Supervisor to help us reach our goals. You would be responsible to use advanced knowledge, skills, and professional judgment in collaboration with other healthcare professionals through the transitions of care process. What you will do in this role:· Provides leadership and is responsible for the delivery of safe, quality, patient care.· Ensures department’s standard of practice, policies and procedures.· Ensures staff provides humidification of the respiratory system.· Manages the mechanical ventilator and appropriate monitoring devices.· Continually monitors the effectiveness and potential adverse effects of delivered therapy.What qualifications you will need:· Completion of a two year AMA approved respiratory care program (Associate Degree or the equivalent); Bachelor Degree preferred.· Minimum five years in clinical respiratory therapy in acute hospital environment.· Current Florida license as RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) through NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care).· Current BLS required.· Current ACLS required.· Current PALS required.· Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.Northside Hospital is a 280+ bed facility offering state-of-the-art treatment.
