Your team is bigger than your department: UT Health Quitman offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, swing bed care, cardiopulmonary rehab, on-site physician clinics, and a sleep lab.We believe healthcare is a team sport and every player has something to contribute. We show compassion, celebrate differences and treat one another with respect. ResponsibilitiesPerform Echo studies/procedures for patients utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease. Functions under the general supervision of the site supervisor and in cooperation with the cardiovascular team. This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital. QualificationsJob Requirements:High School graduate or equivalent.Minimum of 1 year of patient care experienceMinimum of 1 year of experience performing Echocardiography studiesEcho Registry eligible per ICAEL standardsEcho registered in RDCS or RCS within six (6) months of hire date.CPR Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)Registry in Adult Cardiac UltrasoundARDMS or CCI or Registry-Eligible Registered Echocardiography TechnologistPreferred Requirements:Allied Health degree in Cardiac Ultrasound experience performing Echocardiagraphy studies preferredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferredRegistry in Pediatric Cardiac Ultrasound preferred
