Get to Know Your Team:

* UT Health Quitman offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, swing bed care, cardiopulmonary rehab, on-site physician clinics, and a sleep lab.

Responsibilities

* Perform Echo studies/procedures for patients utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease.
* Functions under the general supervision of the site supervisor and in cooperation with the cardiovascular team.
* This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

* High School graduate or equivalent.
* Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience
* Minimum of 1 year of experience performing Echocardiography studies
* Echo Registry eligible per ICAEL standards
* Echo registered in RDCS or RCS within six (6) months of hire date.
* CPR Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Registry in Adult Cardiac Ultrasound
* ARDMS or CCI or Registry-Eligible Registered Echocardiography Technologist

Preferred Requirements:

* Allied Health degree in Cardiac Ultrasound experience performing Echocardiagraphy studies preferred
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
* Registry in Pediatric Cardiac Ultrasound preferred
