Job Summary: Metform is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing tests, and ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in upholding our reputation for delivering top-quality products to our customers.
 
Job Duties:

Conduct thorough inspections of products at various stages of production to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Perform tests and measurements using advanced equipment, including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other precision instruments.
Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

 
Experience and Education:

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform complex calculations.
Experience with quality assurance tools and methodologies, including statistical analysis.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.

 
Competencies/ Skills:

Ability to interpret work instructions and follow both written and verbal directions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in basic mathematical skills to support manufacturing processes.
