Job Title: School Nurse – ElementaryLocation: Central Falls, RISchedule: Full-TimeStart Date: ASAPOverview:Phaxis is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Nurse to provide health services and promote wellness among elementary school students in Central Falls, RI. The ideal candidate will support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of students while collaborating with staff and families to create a safe and healthy school environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid and medication administration.Maintain and update student health records in compliance with state and district regulations.Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions.Monitor and manage communicable disease control measures within the school.Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student health needs.Promote health education and preventive care initiatives.Qualifications:Current RN license in the State of Rhode Island (required).Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).CPR and First Aid certification.Prior experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and assessment skills.Compensation:Competitive pay based on experience.Full-Time position with benefits.
