Duties and responsibilities:
Set-up, troubleshoot, and operate Mazak Horizontal Machining Centers that perform various machine functions such as cutting, milling, reaming, boring.
Adjust the machines and the tooling as needed to consistently manufacture quality parts.
Responsible for ensuring quality of parts through regular inspection during production.
Inspect parts using visual and manual inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, boring gauges etc.
Read and understand blueprints and knowledge of geometric dimension tolerancing.
Safe material handling processes, including forklift driving and overhead crane operating.
Execute daily production, quality, and on time delivery requirements.

Qualifications:Education:
High School Education or equivalent.
Basic reading and strong math skills required to perform the functions of the job.
5 years machining experience preferred and/or machine trades schooling.

Professional experience:
Strong mathematical skills.
Understand technical blueprints.
Computer skills required (i.e., spreadsheets, data entry, email)
Ability to use precision measurement device.
Working knowledge of machine shop equipment including but not limited to: CNC Grinders, Lathes and Mills.
Successfully complete training and receive a Forklift Operator's License.
