Join Kelly Science and Clinical as a Quality Assurance Specialist 1 and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our laboratory operations. This position offers the opportunity to work on special projects and support continuous improvement processes in a dynamic and regulated environment.
Position Duties:
Review sample submission documentation for release to departments for testing.
Inspect raw materials and laboratory supplies for compliance with COA and/or specifications.
Facilitate receipt and release of DEA sample submissions.
Review media and solution batch records and supporting raw data for accuracy and compliance.
Report documentation discrepancies to QA Management and Department Management.
Perform and document daily balance calibration verification and DI water monitoring.
Support QA Analysts in conducting notebook and logbook audits.
Support QA Analysts in reviewing analytical reports and supporting raw data for accuracy and compliance.
Follow current SOPs and practice proper cGDP.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences with one year of relevant experience in a clinical or quality-oriented role, preferably in an FDA-regulated industry.
Knowledge of documentation functions within a cGMP or ISO regulated environment.
Familiarity with electronic Document Control systems (e.g., CompliantPro) preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using a LIMS type system, Crystal reports preferred.
