Act as liaison between Company and customer to address customer quality concerns and provide requested information to the customer to assist them in understanding our quality systems.
Track scrap, rework, internal and external PPM and lead teams for improvement.
Lead structured problem-solving approach for internal and external problems.
Develop and implement systems to support IATF16949 and ISO14001 compliance activities to include but not limited to creating and implementing inspection criteria and procedures.
Actively lead continuous improvement through employee development, process improvement and elimination of waste.
Support APQP launch initiatives.
Evaluate supplier quality performance with Purchasing. Drive supplier quality improvement and lead in supplier development and corrective action activities on an as needed basis.
Administer customer warranty process and provide technical support for all customer supplied product.
Supervise quality engineers/technician.

Bachelor's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial engineering preferred.
5-year minimum experience in Tier One automotive sector preferred.


3-year min. experience in using APQP tools (FMEA, Control Plans, QFD, DOE) required.
3-year min. experience in 8D problem solving process required.
1 year min. experience in using and applying Statistical tools required.
3-year min. experience in IATF16949 or equivalent QMA methodology required.
1 year min. experience in Supplier development preferred.
Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
Experience with metrology and measurement systems/devices (CMM, hand gages).
