Vaccine Production Lab Tech – Verona, WI
Kelly Science is the world’s most recognized brand in Scientific Staffing with more than 100 locations in North America, Europe, and the Pacific Rim. We currently have direct hire Vaccine Production Laboratory Technician positions in Verona, WI. This is a full-time position where you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K; as well as paid time off-- including holiday, vacation, and sick/personal time.
$19/hr, 1st shift position. Direct Hire with Benefits Career and Salary Progression
Technicians assist in tissue and viral culture for vaccine production in a clean room laboratory environment. Viral cultures are then harvested, batched, and filled.
Responsibilities:
Prepare growth medium to be used during vaccine production.
Basic tissue and viral culturing.
Procedures take place under a Grade A Laminar Air Flow hood in a clean room laboratory.
All laboratory processes must be performed aseptically.
Requires daily gowning with sterile hooded coveralls, goggles, face masks, two pairs of gloves, and clean room boot coverings.
The ability to understand and follow Laboratory SOPs.
All procedures must be thoroughly documented.
Work closely with other technicians.
Qualifications:
Able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English.
Squatting, bending, twisting, and fine motor skills all required.
Associates in a life science field preferred, but not required.
High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in GMP preferred, but not required.
Prefer experience working while preventing contamination, such as medical work, or aseptic sample handling.

$19/hr
Monday- Friday 7am – 3:30pm
