Summary Research Associate I Chahoud Lab: Focused on penile and renal cell cancers translational and clinical research. Position Highlights: * The Research Associate I assumes the responsibility of performing basic, biological, behavioral, social science or public health research within the specified research program. Ideal Candidate:

  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to conduct data extraction and analysis.
  • Ability to write scientific protocols, summaries, and manuscripts.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct general laboratory techniques and data analysis.
  • Responsible for preparing manuscripts and presentation of data at local and national meetings. This is done in conjunction with the research staff, research scientists and PI.
  • Responsible for performing a variety of standard laboratory experiments as well as assisting in the development and testing of new laboratory procedures under appropriate supervision.
  • Responsible for drafting letters of intents, protocols, and proposals under appropriate supervision with the research staff and PI.
Credentials and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Field of study: A biological, basic, behavioral, social science or public health research.
  • Hands-on research experience is required
