Role Overview:

As an integral part of our client’s engineering team, the Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, and enhancement of their converting equipment. This role demands a blend of creativity, technical prowess, and a forward-thinking mindset to deliver exceptional solutions that meet and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading the installation, start-up, and commissioning of converting equipment at customer locations globally.
  • Conducting comprehensive product testing to ensure equipment readiness and performance standards.
  • Designing and optimizing electrical components and systems for converting equipment.
  • Developing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical components.
  • Programming and fine-tuning control systems, including PLC, HMI, and motion controls, to achieve optimal functionality.
  • Collaborating with the assembly team to streamline construction processes for peak efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0-5 years of experience in engineering design, preferably with converting equipment.
  • Proficiency in PLC and motion control software (Logix 5000, Siemens TIA, Step 7, etc.).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications and advanced software for engineering design and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic measurement devices, hand tools, and software tools.


Physical Requirements:

  • Comfortable working in dynamic environments, including loud or non-air-conditioned spaces during machine commissioning.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds and perform tasks that may require climbing and maneuvering in tight spaces.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
