~ Skills: MED/Surg, Telemetry-remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Team, IV insulin protocols, Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care & management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, PCA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral Suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac

~ BLS
~ MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Accessing Ports, Insulin, CVA, Surgical drains, Interpretation of ABGs, Trachesotomy Management, EPIC preferred

Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as neededRTO: 7 days MAX;Floating Requirement: Floating requiredWeekend Requirement: 12-16 per contractPATIENT DIAGNOSES: dementia, diabetes, dementia, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, hip fracture. Typical M/S diagnoses plus COVIDSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Isolation area for COVID patients, multi level care to include stepdown (cared for by stepdown staff, not M/S staff)UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, Epic, SBARSCHEDULING TYPE: based on unit needsUNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hoursHospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.SCRUBS: Navy/White
