Do you want to work as a(an) Registered Nurse Radiation Therapy PRN where your passion for creating positive patient interactions are valued? If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity. We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate RN to deliver exceptional patient care in our radiation oncology unit. In this role you will provide care for patients receiving various forms of radiation therapy following a cancer diagnosis. As a radiation oncology registered nurse you will provide care for patients receiving external beam radiation including stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and internal radiation sources including high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy, and low dose rate (LDR) brachytherapy.
· Working closely with nurses, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, physicists, and radiation oncologists as well as a team of cancer experts and cancer resources from the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute, you will assess, plan, implement, evaluate and execute patient care plans related to radiation oncology care.
