Do you want to work as a(an) Registered Nurse Radiation Therapy PRN where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued? If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity. The RN working in the Radiation Therapy Department works in conjunction with the Radiation Oncologist, physicist and other radiation therapist to assure the safe and accurate delivery of radiation therapy.. He/she influences the care delivery system by interacting with the patient, family, physician, radiation therapist, appropriate nursing staff, and ancillary departments acting as a liaison between disciplines as necessary. He/she assists the Chief Therapist/Dosimetrist with administrative functions as necessary. He/she will adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards of the assigned unit, department, and institution.
OCN preferred, two years of experience in oncology nursing.
