Join the Research Medical Center family We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse RN PACU to help us reach our goals. Our Registered Nurses raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way. As part of our fast-paced AMB Prep and Recover department, PACU RNs care for patients following a surgical operation or other invasive procedure. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
You will perform a comprehensive nursing assessment of the post-op patient and closely monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness as the patient recovers from the effects of anesthesia.
You will provide education and emotional support appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance and incorporate patient / family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Prior medical-surgical experience preferred.
Answers telephones, maintain patient charts, logs data into computer
