Per Se is currently seeking a Civil QA/QC Representative for a long-term contract position supporting a premier renewable energy firm as part of our internal project team.
ResponsibilitiesPromote safe work conditions by demonstrating proper use of PPE, review and provide feedback on JSAs, and discussing safe work practices with crews in the field.Oversee all construction work of QA/QC technicians’ respective discipline, taking care to look out for Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Budget. Report any areas to improve on quality and production.Monitor and report on construction activities and personnel within the delivery timelinesOversee the review of Contractor’s documentation including work plans, pre-task meetings and documentation, and training requirements.Ability to use measuring and calibration equipmentUpdate Construction Manager of overall construction progress & performance along with monitoring and review of key performance indicators.Provide input to constructability reviews and manage the optimum contractor involvement activities, looking out for discrepancies in design that could cause delays or rework throughout project.Assist in the determination of causes of material or installation defects and ability to write detailed and accurate Reports for non-conformance.Monitor contract performance against project schedule and milestones, raising schedule delays or missed milestone with Construction Manager to assess whether recovery plan is necessaryRead, analyze, and interpret Scope of Work, design documents, manuals, specifications, professional journals, technical procedures, contracts, or governmental standards and regulations Take care to act as a role model for LRE vision and values, to promote a positive and productive work environment.Promote equality in the workplace and adopt appropriate behavior when interacting with colleagues.Take necessary care to properly protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of proprietary information from unauthorized disclosure, modification, or destruction.Write daily logbooks, reports to CM, business correspondence and document project activities taking care for accuracy and professionalismEffectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients, and customersEffectively present information to top management when appropriate, in coordination with Construction Manager
Required Skills and ExperienceMust have demonstrated experience in civil QA/QC oversight over EPC and sub-contractors and logistics oversightMust have experience in solar new constructionInspections and documentation of earthworks, ground, piling, SWPP, roads, bridgesStrict adherence to contractor’s deliverables, qc, safetyPandoLogic.
