Overview Cloud Security Consultant, GDO at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a skilled Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers' technical requirements and business objectives. You will drive customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts About the Team AWS Global Services helps customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. Our teams collaborate with AWS Partners and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to support enterprise cloud adoption across diverse solutions, technologies, and industries. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience 1+ years automating security operations including scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments, automate security assessments and remediation workflows, and implement security policies as code 1+ years in advanced incident response to lead response efforts, including detection and analysis and managing eradication processes 3+ years of experience with security services and best practices including implementing security controls and optimizing security measures Preferred Qualifications AWS experience with proficiency in EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation AWS Professional certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Security Specialty) preferred Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python) Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Understanding of industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST frameworks) Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions (e.g., WAF, IPS, Anti-DDoS, SIEM) Company and Equal Opportunity Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
