Director of Risk Management - Las Vegas We are currently working with a Growing Community Hospital that is looking to hire a Director of Risk Management. Overview The Director of Risk Management is responsible for the ongoing effective operation of various patient safety and risk management activities. Responsibilities include performance and oversight of claim management functions, investigation and analysis of risk assessments, root cause analysis, action plan tracking, facilitation of the Patient Safety Council, and integration of the corporate TERM program into the overall risk management program. The role works collaboratively with department directors and the executive team to implement corporate and facility risk reduction strategies and provides expertise to regulatory and compliance standards and processes. The position entails data analysis, reporting, education, leadership, and accountability for related activities. Responsibilities Oversee claim management and risk assessment processes. Conduct root cause analysis and track action plans. Lead the Patient Safety Council and integrate TERM program initiatives. Collaborate with department directors and executive team on risk reduction strategies. Provide expertise on regulatory and compliance standards. Analyze data, produce reports, and educate staff on risk management practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field. Minimum of 2 years of risk management experience, with acute‑care experience preferred. Experience in a hospital setting with risk and leadership responsibilities.
