This position is accountable for partnering with diverse business units to identify, design, and implement process improvements rooted in Lean and Six Sigma principles. Responsibilities Lead other process improvement consultants and support upskilling team members. Lead large process‑focused programs. Manage continuous improvement assessments and support business units with continuous improvement assessments. Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Strong relationship‑management skills that foster connection across multiple business functions. Qualifications Requires specialized expertise in process improvement with a nationally‑recognized Six Sigma Black Belt (or higher) certification. Experience with process improvement within the Insurance or Finance industry (preferably 5+ years). Experience with managing cross‑functional teams. Experience with assessing and improving complex processes within FP&A, risk management, portfolio management and operations. Familiarity with working with Agile teams, supporting existing and new technologies. Familiarity with AI principles. Preferred Qualifications Education: MBA Insurance industry certifications At Securian Financial, the internal title for this position is Business Operations Sr Consultant. Estimated Base Pay Range $86,500.00 - $160,000.00 Pay may vary depending on job‑related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
