Inside Sales Account Manager
Overview:
MSS/Long Rolling is accepting applications/resumes for the position of Inside Sales Account Manager. This position will be responsible for after-market / spares / services customers. Tasks will include the inquiry/proposal stage through the finance collection process as well as the administrative functions. A high visibility position, requiring excellent communication skills, commercial skills and a positive attitude. The position is fast paced and requires good time management and multi-tasking capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and developing sales reports and metrics
- Account Managers will answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.
- In this role, the person will liaise with internal teams including proposals and engineering to support customer experience.
- This position requires occasional travel. (10%)
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Analyze Business financial results, sales reports and other performance indicators
- Liaise with Finance to ensure proper recognition of Project Revenues and Cost
- Assist in monitoring Product planned cost and variance analysis
- Assist with challenging customer requests or issue escalations as needed
- Weekly review of manufacturing status reports indicating progression of order
- Expediting internal and external suppliers to meet customer delivery requirements
- Correspondence with customer regarding order delivery status
- Customer credit limit management
- Accounts receivable collections assistance
- BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
- Successfully serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise.
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.
- Proven interdisciplinary, cross-functional thinker.
- Selling and customer negotiation experience.
- Negotiations skills
