By leveraging technology, our smart algorithms can match teachers to the perfect school and help schools find great teachers. We are on a mission to improve the education system by increasing efficiency, providing transparency, and helping schools and teachers work together effectively. We recently raised a Series B funding round of $37 million, the largest in European EdTech this year. About the Role The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work with our Zen Educate Teacher Success Team, focusing on onboarding potential teachers and matching applicants to schools’ needs. This is a high‑dialing role that requires constant communication with applicants to place them in teaching roles as quickly as possible. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Calling teachers signing up for Zen Educate to quickly qualify, assess preferences, and schedule interviews if they meet our criteria Conducting initial phone interviews with applicants to assess suitability for open roles Gaining a deep understanding of candidates’ preferences while identifying the most suitable position Building value and excitement around Zen Educate’s mission and how we support teachers in finding the perfect role Guiding candidates through our screening and document collection process, following up diligently as needed Creating urgency and excitement when speaking with applicants to get them started with Zen Educate quickly Working in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing startup environment that requires flexibility and adaptability We are Looking for Confidence on the phone and ability to build rapport with candidates Someone who thrives in a high‑performing, goal‑oriented environment A growth mindset and commitment to learning new skills Independent, self‑motivated, and resilient in a startup setting Strong written and oral communication skills Comfortable with technology, including Google Suite Experience in customer service, customer success, inbound sales, or education (former teachers are encouraged to apply) New graduates are encouraged to apply What’s in it for You Work that you want to talk about Competitive salary Ownership in the company 15+ days PTO & 9 federal holidays Fun‑loving, tight‑knit team solving a meaningful problem Health insurance Diversity and Inclusion At Zen, we strive to build a culture of equity and inclusion, where everyone is respected, valued, and appreciated for their unique traits, experiences, and perspectives.
